Teen Moms Share Their Vision for Sex Ed
This video was made by a group of teen moms.
When the group discussed their experience with sex ed, a common thread emerged: too little, too late. Some had family who didn't believe they needed information because they were "good girls". Some are daughters of teen parents who didn't have the information themselves to pass on. Some did have an "abstinence only" or "marriage and family" class in school, but it wasn't until after they were already pregnant.
This is the group's reflection of common sex ed experiences and their vision how Sex Ed should be delivered.
Young people deserve comprehensive, accurate information. Their health depends on it.
