MKF Election Protection Call Center 2008
-- On November 4th, 2008, Mitchell Kapor Foundation hosted a National Campaign for Fair Elections Election Protection call center, answering calls from all over the US helping people who had problems voting. The 1-866-OUR-VOTE hot-line fielded over 200,000 calls nationwide, including over 80,000 calls on election day alone. The National Campaign for Fair Elections is run by Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law.
